Hello Everyone,
Well, I am now in Scotland and visiting my friend Gretchen. I am gradually adjusting to the temperature as I am going from 35-40 degree weather with constant sunshine to gray, overcast and about 20 degrees. Although the sun is peeking through the clouds right now. I am happy to be here and Gretchen has been so good to me. She has been taking care of me - Florence Nightengaling my ass, which is probably a good thing.
I have downloaded my 1000 pictures onto Gretchen's computer and will take the next couple of days to sift through them and start a bit of a photo journal on the blog. I am excited about having some time to sit down and gather my thoughts a bit and perhaps get them down on 'paper'. So, watch for upcoming posts with pictures (hopefully). I will have more of an opportunity to really write about the Camino and my experiences.

ReplyDeleteI just got back from Italy and had a wonderful time. I want to go back there for August...the weather here stinks. Sorry to hear about your foot but it wasn't about finishing...it was about having fun. Tell Gretchen I said hello and have fun in Scotland.

Glad that you are getting some much needed R&R. Looking forward to hearing about the scotland adventures...but watch those old men and their kilts...you never know what they might be hiding up there. :-)

Thanks Elizabeth! I definitely had fun and I am still having fun in Scotland. I have been getting out and about to different places around Aberdeen and the weather has been pretty good. I'm glad to hear that your trip to Italy was good and that the weather was fantastic. If it is anything like Spain, hot and dry. It has taken me a bit to get used to the weather in Scotland. I think going back to Italy for August is a fine idea. It will keep you out of the school ;). Look forward to sharing stories. Talk to you soon.

ReplyDeleteI was going to get pictures up within the next couple of days, but Gretchen has taken her computer with her to Grantown, so you will have to wait a little longer. However, I may be able to get them saved to disk and work on it. I'll see what I can do. Talk to you soon.
